Recruitment for Nursing Presence Research Study
An Invitation to Share Your Stories of Caring for Your Patients!
Are you a bedside clinical care registered nurse?
If so, we invite you to participate in a research study.
What? The purpose of the study is to explore registered nurses’ perceptions of being present to their patients.
How? Share your stories in a 15–30-minute recorded interview via Zoom technology.
When? At a time that is convenient for you.
Where? Via Zoom technology.
With whom? Interviews will be conducted by the Principal Investigator and another member of the research team. The interviews will be transcribed, then the Zoom recording will be erased. The transcription will not include your name. Your identity will only be known to the interviewers and not shared with anyone outside of the research team. (The manager of your unit will not know if you participated in the study.)
Incentive? You will receive a $30 gift card for participating in the interview.
Are you interested?
Please contact the principal investigator, Carol Kostovich, PhD, RN, CHSE, at ckostovich1@luc.edu if you have any questions and to schedule your interview.
Note: This research study has been approved by the Institutional Review Board of Loyola University Chicago.
Thank you!
